LINK TO TRAVESIA ARTISTICA (ARTISTIC VOYAGE): I created a blog as I was accepted into an amazing program, Community Arts University Without Walls (CAUWW), through the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI) at the Interamerican University in Puerto Rico (an intensive college course, summer 2015). The blog followed my progress along the program while in Puerto Rico while documenting some amazing Puerto Rican art, artists and communities on the island. The blog lives on now documenting subsequent projects coming out of my CAUWW experience, such as my painting series and events – as well as reporting on art-related events and happenings that relate to concepts of Community Arts, Cultural Equity and the Puerto Rican Diaspora.

LINK TO MASHUPS: Mashups is a collaborative multi-media art project, created by photographer Muema and painter Lorie Caval. What Muema captures within the frame of his photographs, Lorie expounds upon with etching and colorful paints – the result is a completely new version of each of the works. Muema and Lorie’s Mashups have been exhibited since 2007 and have been mentioned in The New York Times, Nueva Luz Photographic Journal and in The Star-Ledger. www.muemaandlorie.com
LINK TO “BANG THE PARTY – THE MOVIE” DOCUMENTARY FILM: The film documents the rise and fall of Bang the Party (BTP), an underground house music dance party which took place in New York City – Manhattan and Brooklyn – on a weekly basis from 1997 to 2003, as organized by party producers Eman & Lorie. A unique group of nightlife characters: DJs, dancers, artists and house music legends are interviewed while BTP events are documented. http://bangthepartynyc.blogspot.com/
